There are light scratches on the front of the headstock. Right side of body has a longer scratch, as well as longer scratches on the lower mid back of body, that are hard to see in pictures.

Epiphone Dot Studio is constructed of a laminated mahogany body with a mahogany center block and a hand-fitted, glued-in 24.75-inch scale mahogany neck. Epiphone Dot Studio is constructed using high-quality electronic parts which include full-size 1 inch 500K Ohm potentiometers, all-metal pickup selector switch, and a heavy-duty output jack. Its semi-hollow body sound is voiced by a pair of open-coil, black Alnico Classic Humbucker pickups.

Th guitar’s tone adjustment controls include a master tone and master volume. Epiphone Dot Studio is built with chrome hardware and 18:1 ratio black Grover machine heads for the best tuning stability and precision along with black LockTone locking Tune-o-Matic Bridge and stop bar tailpiece for great sustain. Some of the other features are plain fingerboard, a 1.68-inch nut, a SlimTaper D profile neck, and the dove wing headstock.
