The Gibraltar Lightning Rod Telescoping Hi Hat Stand solves several annoying problems with one very helpful feature: a hi hat rod that actually telescopes into the base.
The upper tube and hi hat rod are independently adjustable, so you can position your hi hats at whatever height you want - even extremely low - and always keep them at the very top of the rod. You no longer have maneuver around extra rod sticking far above your hats.
The rod almost entirely telescopes into the base when you're ready to get on the road, so you can keep the rod and the rest of the stand together without worrying about it being bent along the way. This makes teardown even faster.
This stand is lightweight and portable, easily fitting into any hardware bag.
