There is an "S" stamped on the back of the headstock indicating this guitar was originally a factory 2nd. There is a pea size finish chip around the screw head near the pickup selector, and some slightly dull finish on the lower back of body that is hard to see in pictures. Both of which could indicate why this was a factory 2nd. The guitar otherwise plays well as it should.
