Case has a few scratches, and a few small tears. Front lower left side of the body has a pea size ding. Lower right side of the body's F-hole has a small finish chip. Upper front & back of the headstock have some light micro scratches that are hard to see in pictures. Tailpiece has some tarnishing. Back of the body has some light micro scratches that are hard to see in pictures.

The classic mandolin F shape, the FM-63S features a solid spruce top, solid maple back, rosewood fingerboard, ebony bridge, and gold plated hardware.
