Used with wear associated with use. Minor cosmetic scratches/scuffs from handling and play. Any noteworthy blemishes or issues will be described and pictured. Works as it should.
We strongly recommend using the proper power supply for any pedal. Daisy chain power supplies may not supply enough power when using multiple pedals or introduce noise into the chain. Consult the pedal manual when available for manufacturer recommended power specifications.
Jordan’s all time favorite circuit. Treble Booster topology rearranged for a UpperMids/Mids boost focus. Built on vintage element #14 Silicon Transistors.
For these pedals we are using the TI, Motorola, and Fairchild 2N1132 transistor. Hand selected for frequency response, gain range, leakage, and performance.
LOWER GAIN OPTION
I have thousands of transistors, mostly collected from rural travels across Alaska. Many of these do not fit the normal gain value used in a ranger style circuit.
Well, I decided to try some lower gain value transistors one day awhile back and WOW! Completely blown away. The lower gain option is really great for a first gain stage in your signal chain, but don’t be misled. There is plenty of boost to breakup front end if wanted.
Transistors used are low leakage and have a beta of 30-60hFE.
