We strongly recommend using the proper power supply for any pedal. Daisy chain power supplies may not supply enough power when using multiple pedals or introduce noise into the chain. Consult the pedal manual when available for manufacturer recommended power specifications.
The DIRTY DELAY Pedal is a mashup of two awesome effects, a classic overdrive and a delay, in one pedal! The Overdrive circuit in the pedal is an asymmetrically soft-clipping Overdrive, while the Delay is a versatile echo machine. A selector switch allows you to choose either Overdrive or Delay or both simultaneously. The DIRTY DELAY is great for that larger-than-life arena rock sound or for adding delay to a massive solo to make it sound ever more…. massive.
CONTROLS Volume: This controls the volume of the pedal’s output. Gain:: This knob controls the gain of the clipping amplifier. Repeats: This controls the number of repeats from a few to infinite. Delay: The length of delay between echoes is controlled by this knob. Counterclockwise=shorter delay. Clockwise=longer delay. OD/Delay Switch: Set this switch to OD to select the Overdrive-only circuit. Set to Delay to select the Delay-only circuit. Place the switch in the middle position to use both effects at the same time. Footswitch: True-bypass. Press the switch to route your input signal through the circuit or bypass the circuit. Power: This pedal takes a standard 9V DC Center-Negative power supply with a 2.1mm negative center barrel. Current: 85mA Note: Depending on your setup, the circuit in the Dirty Delay Pedal might oscillate or squeal if the controls are maxed out.
